Responsibilities:
Solution outline/impact analysis of new business ideas and driving commercial and technical feasibility assessment
Design E2E solutions against requirements, ensure solutions are built as designed, and drive architecture governance
Evaluate and review Design Frameworks and Methodologies and approves design in order to achieve functional and non-functional requirements and conformance to the architecture
Perform the competitive analysis of products and technologies under guidance in order to provide input on the service offering and input on suitable customers
Participate in POC, architects and validates complex technical solution(s) when required; performs estimations and collateral consolidation, brings in alliance product offering/IPs to provide technical leadership and technical differentiation.
Participate in client discussions to understand the problem faced by the customer and articulates the same to internal stakeholders, define and document the problem and get customer agreement
Bring in best practices from the Industry and provide different options in order to assist in identifying and defining the problem
Arrive at possible solution alternatives that factor in gap resolution, impact related functional/technical areas, acceptability of the solution to the user community, technical feasibility and efficiency in order to assist in arriving at the final solution definition
Evaluate and review design frameworks and methodologies and approve design in order to achieve functional and non-functional requirements and conformance to the architecture
Create, consult and review architectural decisions and architecture solution
Perform re-engineering of architectures in order to create solution Blue-print to meet project requirement
Perform “as-is” analysis and provide “to-be” recommendations, evaluate product technology solution and provide solution(s) to specialized problems in order to provide inputs on technical and domain road map.
Evangelize the usage of reusable frameworks and artifacts
Create knowledge /certification artifacts and evaluation criteria guide or provide technical training in relevant technology areas in order to develop talent in technology /domain.

Skills:
Minimum of three years of experience in architecting/designing .NET based applications for Utility customers
Experience in Utilities Electricity/Gas distribution related - Enterprise IT Architecture, Technology Consulting
Thorough understanding of:
Enterprise Architecture Frameworks like TOGAF / ZACHMAN and tools like RSA / Archimate tools
Integration of Utilities’ billing, metering, collection, MDM, Work and Asset management, Geographic Information systems.
Mobility elated solutions for Utilities
Knowledge of integration with SAP or Oracle Utilities package will be beneficial
Define, plan and develop services, solutions, frameworks, IPs etc. around Utility operations domain and contribute towards Business planning
Be able to play an advisory role to the clients by provide technology consultancy including problem definition, discovery, product evaluation, solution recommendation, IT roadmap definition and architecture definition
Excellent client facing skills and fluency in English
Experienced in SOA, EAI, BPM, CEP will be a bonus
Knowledge/Certified in TOGAF
Qualification:Bachelors Degree, preferably an Engineering Degree
