Helpmates Staffing Services   is seeking a Business Development Manager to support our expansion efforts in our markets.  In this strategic role, based out of local office and reporting to the Company’s Selling Branch Manager, you will manage and be responsible for an assigned territory. As an integral part of the branch, the Business Development Manager will provide strategic and tactical leadership and is responsibility for all sales functions within the assigned area.

HIRING CRITERIA:

Chosen candidate’s primary responsibilities include:

Identifying major prospects in an assigned territory and implementing strategies to develop these accounts

Increasing sales volume to meet individual and corporate goals and objectives through consistent in-person contact with targeted prospects and key clients

Opportunistic involvement in key community functions to enhance company name awareness.

Effectively educating prospective clients on Helpmates’ Staffing Services

Required Qualifications:

At least 2 years recent direct sales experience in the staffing industry or related fields in the Southern California area

Proven track record of achieving/exceeding personal production quotas through effective selling techniques; negotiation and problem solving skills

Current working knowledge of the latest economic and industry trends, labor laws and competitive information a plus

Ability to work independently and pursue leads with tact and perseverance

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proposal preparation and presentation

Outstanding knowledge of the Internet for driving sales

Stable professional employment history

Preferred Qualifications:

College graduate

Experience in on-site account development

Experience in commercial staffing segments

Certified Staffing Professional designation

Currently employed

Resides in Orange County.
