Picture perfect pics can prevent problems down the road.
Everyone seems to want to take pictures or be picture perfect for those shots. From people taking pictures of their lunch to outfits to decide upon for a day and everywhere in between, as well as every phone having a camera. It seems that the concept of trying to be picture perfect is becoming a regular thing.
From when the band says cheese to live shots, from music marketing photos of products to funny shots, pictures are even more a part of the music business than ever before. But, have you ever thought about the business side of taking pictures. The concept around preventative maintenance and problem solving for the business of your music.
Some of the things we forget the fastest on the road or things that change the most can be the best to take a quick picture of. For example, how about a picture perfect or at least simple snap shop of your hotel room, your rental car, (especially the licensee plate) and where you are parked in a garage or even street. Since touring and traveling can be tiring and things can be easily forgotten, that extra easy visual can be that much better for you. Hell, I spent 5 minutes trying to get in to a hotel room that was the number I had stayed at a night before once.
The Flying element of picture perfect is the idea of taking a snap shot of your luggage. if your luggage is delayed, rerouted or taken by some one else, how well can you describe it. Beyond those extra identifiable tabs you might have added to your luggage, do you have a shot to show some one? This picture perfect concept will help to problem solve with the airlines to help find things a lot faster than, its tan and big and has my name on it.
From picture perfect reminder shots to preventative maintenance photos to help you remember those things you might have forgotten or help some one to help you find some thing that is lost, think about not just snapping your lunch, your band or your friends and grab a few shots that can really help in those situations you need it the most.
