One thing I didn’t know about RV life is that moisture abounds when there are four people living in a 32 ft trailer. At night, while we are asleep, the condensation collection on the walls, the windows, in the closets, and even where the mattress meets the wall. It is amazing. So we’ve had to make a few small changes to adapt to this. In the daytime, we leave the windows open a bit. We also now have hanging moisture absorbers in our closets. But at night, we use a dehumidifier, also called an air dryer.
This Spring, I have noticed my skin is feeling a bit dry. Maybe due to the dehumidifier, winter dryness, but also the change in weather. We have been getting some very warm days for Western Washington – hitting over 70 degrees a few times already. Which is nice! But, my skin needed to be moisturized. Badly. With the skirts, shorts and capris, and sleeveless shirts coming out, I need my skin looking great.
Thankfully, I have Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion to keep my skin hydrated. I have always been a big fan of Aveeno products. I use their tinted moisturizer with SPF for my face every day. Now, I have been using this lotion for the last three weeks and I love it. My skin is soft and the dryness gone. Staying moisturized in the RV means you must get a great lotion.
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion is formulated with ACTIVE NATURALS® Colloidal Oatmeal and blended with rich emollients to soothe and moisturize dry skin. ACTIVE NATURALS® Colloidal Oatmeal is the #1 natural ingredient most trusted and recommended by dermatologists. When used daily, it is clinically proven to improve the health of skin with significant improvement in 2 weeks. Non-greasy and fast absorbing, Aveeno Daily Moistuirizing Lotion is hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and noncomedogenic.
One other way I am staying moisturized in the RV is by drinking more water. This has been a goal of mine for a while now. In the month of April, Aveeno conducted their Aveeno Daily Challenge. I took them up on this and made a goal to drink more water. My ultimate goal is drink 8 glasses of water a day. The Daily Challenge was three weeks long. I added a glass of water each week. This week I am up to 4 glasses of water. I wasn’t drinking water really at all before. {I am so terrible at drinking water. I have to make proactive steps to do it, or it won’t get done.} So here’s how I am easily drinking more water:
In the RV, I have a filtered water pitcher on the counter with my cup right next to it. Easy access = more water drank in a day.
I have a water bottle that fruit can be added to to infuse some flavor in it (think lemon, berries, cucumbers, lime, oranges, etc…)
I also love the natural drink mixes to add to water. I can down 16 oz of water quickly when there is some flavor in it
With Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion and more water intake, my skin hasn’t looked this good for I don’t know when. I am very pleased. Aveeno has helped my skin with their products but also with their challenge which I gladly took up. So thank you Aveeno – beauty naturally is the way to go!
