During the morning, I have an opportunity to attend the Selangor Digital Creative Centre (SDCC) Launching Event organized by Selangor Information Technology and E-Commerce Council (SITEC) at I-City Shah Alam. According to the SITEC official website, SDCC is a 11,000 square feet incubator and co-working space that offer collaborative power of technology innovation and enterprise culture to nurture e-commerce or m-commerce startups especially small and medium enterprise (SMEs). It is not merely a comfortable workplace as they aim to build an environment which encourages collaboration and interaction through series of events and programs that aimed to encourage maker movement in Selangor. The Selangor government through its investment arm, Invest Selangor, has set up SITEC to develop Selangor as the regional trading hub for E-Commerce and airlift the startup eco-system.
Since June, SITEC managed to organize 6 E-Commerce Classes and 4 Startup Selangor gatherings that attended by more than thousands aspired merchants and entrepreneurs. They had assist 15 merchants to sell online and have built 10 Selangor Apps that provide quick access to information about Selangor for locals and investors. Upon checked the details of the event from my PC, I drove my car all the way from KL Sentral to Shah Alam via NKVE highway as below.
Upon arrival, I parked my car near the location as below.
Then I walked up to the venue (E-28-1, Jalan Multimedia 7/AG, City Park, I-City, Shah Alam, Selangor. Shah Alam, Selangor 40000, Malaysia), 2nd floor for the SDCC launch event as below.
There was a lot of people attending but unfortunately I arrived late as I just take some picture around.
I get to meet some familiar people like Mr William from 11street. Besides, I also send my boss regards to Mr Goh. The food provided is great and I enjoyed it very much as below.
There is a lot of different merchant at there including the payment gateway company in Malaysia. Around 1.30pm I make a move from there and drive back to KL Sentral, Brickfields area. Besides, it seems that the petrol price had increase to RM2.05 per litre as I refill it at the nearby petrol station as below.
On the other hand, I just saw my friend has gone to Taiwan to attend the E-Commerce Expo Asia (亞太電子商務展) at World Trade Center Nangon Exhibition Center (南港展覽館) located at Taipei, Taiwan.
