It's that time of year again... start off SXSW right with our kickoff party and the opening of Ink Tank's Analogue Future installation, attend some of the raddest official Interactive talks with Lomography heavyweights, and of course, check out some amazing live music with our slew of showcases in-store!

When: Wednesday, March 6, 2013; 6:00 – 10:00 pm
What: SXSW Kickoff Party and opening of Ink Tank Collective’s installation “The Future is Analogue”!

Taking inspiration from Lomography’s most quintessential of mottos, Ink Tank will transform the Lomography Gallery Store Austin into an analogue mélange for our eyes and ears. Open bar c/o Tito’s Handmade Vodka and our non-alcoholic darlings at ID Soda.
Ink Tank is an Austin-based artist collective composed of roughly thirteen mercurial individuals. Together we make objects and conceptual environments, aiming to privilege the experience and not the relic. We take having fun very seriously so we are fortunate to find ourselves in this land of parties. We don’t live in the future but try to sometimes, with results.

As a family of wolves, we race along the horizon. We ride tightly on our journey, matching each other’s strides perfectly, howling individually. Through the medium of film, our goal is to help humanity embrace creativity and the feeling of being alive. Though our paws are tender and our pelts dirty, we constantly strive for the next journey.
