We may be far from being the jetsetting professional photographers that Steve McCurry and David Alan Harvey already are, but we sure can still learn a thing or two from this video when it comes to packing our photography gear for our own trips!



After accidentally running into each other at the recent Gulf Photo Plus Workshop, friends, colleagues, and fellow National Geographic and Magnum photographers David Alan Harvey and Steve McCurry joined forces to make this quick video for young photographers. This is part of an ongoing series of videos that can be found on burn magazine, which Harvey curates. Anyway, in this particular clip, McCurry, who has decades of experience under his belt, lists off a few essential tips – the first and probably most important of which is to take your gear with you and not store it in your suitcase, in the event that it gets lost.
