Federated Track On LocWorld pre-conference day This federated track does not have its separate call for participation. High impact submissions from the XLIFF and CAL tracks will be promoted to the Federated Track by the program committees.

6th International XLIFF Symposium
Content Analytics Meets Localization Track
The 6th XLIFF Symposium will take place on June 2-3 2015, in Berlin, Germany,
and it will be BIG not only due to its official collocation with LocWorld, Berlin 2015! BUT chiefly because XLIFF 2.0 has become an OASIS standard last summer. The standard is also being proposed to ISO and many key players are working on robust XLIFF 2.0 implementations. The support for the brand new standard has seen a jump start since the pioneering implementations were documented in spring 2014. XLIFF TC is busy adding new advanced features in the XLIFF 2.1 edition. Let’s come and discuss all this in Berlin!
Also this year, the traditionally successful XLIFF Symposium will be for the third time integrated as a Track in FEISGILTT, the peer reviewed Federated Event dedicated to Interoperability Standardization in Globalization, Internationalization, Localization, and Translation Technologies. FEISGILTT and hence XLIFF Symposium are collocated with the leading industry conference in the Localization space, Localization World.
The Symposium builds on success of the 1st and 2nd XLIFF Symposia which were both held in Europe, 1st as LRC XV preconference, the 2nd at TM Europe 2011, the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 5.5th Symposia were collocated with LocWorld in Seattle 2012, London 2013, Dublin 2014, and Vancouver 2014 respectively.

This track builds on success of the ITS 2.0 Tracks that were part of the first and second FEISGILTT, now that ITS 2.0 has become a W3C recommendation (29th October 2013) it is time to broaden horizons and look into the wider implementation context of content analytics in localization using, established, brand new and emerging data and metadata exchange formats.
With this track, we aim to gather current and potential users of content analytics, a set of technologies to make use of large amounts of unstructured, often textual content. We want to discuss the role standardized formats such as ITS 2.0 can play in multilingual content analytics, as well as the role of the growing amount of freely available knowledge resources represented as multilingual linked data.

Detailed Submission Requirements for FEISGILTT 2015
These submission requirements are the same for all tracks of FEISGILTT 2015.
All submissions will be judged based on abstracts only in the first round. Submitting full papers for proceedings is optional. Attachments are optional at this stage.
We have introduced the following active participation formats:
Academic PaperUse this category in case you want to orally present findings of a relevant academic paper.Successful authors will be invited to orally present or to submit a poster. Successful authors will also be invited to provide long (typically 8 pages excluding references, let us know in advance should you need more) or short (4 pages including references) papers for proceedings.Paper submissions will be judged based on abstracts, uploading a full paper is facultative and you will be given a deadline for proceedings in due course. Papers at the initial submission stage should do not need to be specifically formatted. The only formal requirement is to use citations and references in the Harvard format (http://www.mic.ul.ie/academicdepts/english/Documents/Cite%20It%20Right.pdf). If you published or presented the paper before, you should say so in the submission and you are also responsible for securing previous publisher’s consent in case your paper is accepted for presentation/publication at FEISGILTT 2015. At the proceedings publication deadline, formatting and length restriction guidelines will be enforced.
Interoperability Showcase (demo)Use this category in case you want to present a live demo of a relevant product or solution.Live demo is an obligatory part of this category presentation. Presented systems can be mature prototypes or products. Marketing statements are strongly discouraged. Presenter should be able to explain and demonstrate at the technical level, why and that the presented solution is relevant for the conference. Cooperations of multiple subjects demonstrating interoperability based on multiple open standards are encouraged. Showcase demo presenters should state upfront if they also want to publish an informative paper in the proceedings in case of acceptance. Short and long papers published along with demos will need to fulfill the same publishing requirements as Academic papers (see above). Publishing a paper with a demo is encouraged but by no means a requirement.
Case StudyUse this category in case you want to give a presentation of an industry application of open standards, successful or “lessons learnt” :-).This category won’t be judged with academic rigor. You may want to present a short demo, as well, but it is not a requirement. Cooperations of multiple subjects demonstrating interoperability based on multiple open standards are encouraged. If you want to publish a paper in proceedings, you should NOT choose this category of submission. Informative publication of slides is possible and encouraged.
Panel DiscussionUse this category if you want to organize a high impact panel on an important issue.Proposer should have secured participation of all proposed panelists in case of acceptance. Program committees may make panel counter-proposals based on your ideas or independently.
PosterUse this category, in case your research, demo, or case study is not suitable for oral presentation. You may be invited to publish a short or long paper based on your Poster proposal. In your poster proposal you should state if you are interested in short or long paper publishing in proceedings. Publishing a (short) paper is encouraged, but by no means a requirement for this category.
