Jordans 2017 elevates the iconic Air Jordan 4 silhouette with premium materials and craftsmanship. Featuring a full black nubuck upper and metallic gold finishes, the Air Jordan VI continues to push the boundaries of off-court style. Taking the canvas of the classic Air Jordan 4 silhouette, Jordan Brand plans to give the sneaker a luxurious touch with the forthcoming drop of the Jordan “Royalty” iteration. Paying tribute to the success of the AJ4, the Jumpman gives the silhouette a full black nubuck upper with hits of metallic gold featured on the Jordan Brand logos and the lace eyelets. Adding some contrast to the sneaker, the Jumpman uses a white colorway on the midsoles of each shoe while a black-on-black mesh netting is used on the side panels of the sneakers. The sneaker boasts a black nubuck upper, that is complemented by metallic gold hits on the winged eyelets and Jumpman branding, while a contrasting white midsole caps off the premium look.
New Air Jordan Shoes As a celebration of Jordan’s instantly recognizable shoes, the brand unveils new Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 8 color ways grounded by the Jordan’s famed red and white color schemes. Each shoe also features stitched year patches on the tongue corresponding to the year MJ wore the respective style on court. Building off themes of flight that run strong throughout the Jordan Brand’s design history, this Air Jordan “Take Flight” Collection, which includes three shoes, takes cues from military bomber jackets and fighter planes. The Air Jordan Spring 2017 Collection celebrates Jordan Brand’s heritage by introducing a series of releases paying homage to the brand’s legacy of pushing the boundaries of style both on and off the court. Originally released in 1999, the Air Jordan 15 OG was inspired by a stealth fighter plane. The silhouette returns with premium materials and construction. They’re almost like a hybrid between the “Maroon” Air Jordan 6 and “Hare” Air Jordan 7 releases. Featuring a White perforated leather upper with Pure Platinum detailing and Gym Red accents on the lining, lace look and tongue. Completing the shoe is the year “1991” on the tongue and translucent soles.
New Jordans 2016 celebrates its legacy in a modern way with this new Air Jordan 12 low colorway. Featuring max orange accents, an extension of the brand’s heritage reds, the shoe features a black suede upper and matching pebbled leather mudguard. The Air Jordan 5 takes design cues from a P51 flight bomber jacket. The leather wrapped midsole, a new construction technique to the Air Jordan 5, beautifully grounds the sequoia green silhouette and is balanced by premium materials throughout the upper. Incorporating a sequoia green color way inspired by the Air Jordan 9 Olive, the Air Jordan 8 features pops of max orange. Additionally, the shoe is given an elevated construction and for the first time integrates neoprene materials in the upper. Worn by MJ during his 1997 home playoff run, the Air Jordan 12 Low Playoff remains faithful to the original colorway with a black tumbled leather upper and textured white leather overlays. Throughout his career, Michael Jordan regularly surprised fans with exclusive performance footwear. A simple color shift in each silhouette could instigate pandemonium, quickly becoming coveted by athletes and collectors alike.
