We are seeking candidates for the 2019 LMD Board of Directors. Here are the positions that need to be filled:
Executive Board
2019 – 2021: Chair-Elect/Chair/Past Chair: Leads LMD Board of Directors in ensuring the success of the Division’s programs, products, and services. As Chair-Elect, is responsible for working with the current Chair and Past Chair on the strategic direction for the division. As Chair, calls monthly board meetings, virtually or in person, and ensure that the unit holds an annual business meeting. As Past-Chair, is responsible for leading the nominations committee of the Division.
2019 – 2020: Secretary: Attends all virtual monthly LMD Board meetings as well as any in-person meetings, to record and disseminate all discussions and votes pertaining to LMD activities.
Advisory Board
2020 SLA Conference Planner: Works with the 2020 LMD Board of Directors on developing programs for the Annual Conference. Attends monthly virtual board meetings beginning with the 2019 monthly board meetings, and attends conference-planning meetings at Leadership Summit and Annual Conference.
2019-2020: Awards Chair: Works with the 2019 and 2020 Board members on the promotion and selection process for the LMD Awards.
2019-2020: Co-Chair, Marketing Section: Works with the other co-chair on planning any programs for the professional development committee as well as the annual conference program planner
2019-2020: Co-Chair, Consulting Section: Works with the other co-chair on planning any programs for the professional development committee as well as the annual conference program planner
2019-2020: Webmaster: Maintains and enhances LMD’s web presence. Works with all Board members on adding relevant content to the website. Will work with other webmasters on the platform change to Higher Logic.
