Hi there! Last week I made big bike tour trough my city Amsterdam with my new Cortina bike. Riding a bike is a great way to explore the city while getting exercise ;). I visited all my favorite stores with my bike, which you can see on the pictures below. I also matched some different outfits to my new bike. Since after all – #fietsenisfashion

Now find out where I get inspired for my daily outfits! Use my guide to discover the different streets and areas and everything they offer from fashion to concept stores as well as a coffee in between. Recognizable from my Lizzy approved Cortina sticker J Enjoy!

Hotspots:

Hutspot

Hutspot is named after a famous Dutch winter meal, a young concept store in Amsterdam. This amazing store is located at the van Woustraat in Amsterdam and is owned by 4 young Dutch guys. The store sells a mix of products; jewelry, clothing, antique, art and many more. The idea behind this store is that they collect a great amount of different brands, which can hire space in their huge shop and all is for sale. Besides shopping, there is a café where you can have lunch, an art gallery and many more.  This is a place you must visit when you are in Amsterdam because it is unique.

Cotton Cake

This is definitely one of my favorites. Hotspot Cottoncake is a photogenic bright white painted store in the Amsterdam Pijp (my neighborhood). This cute small fashionable store halfway through the Albert Cuyp market, sells fashion, art and home decor in a beautiful white interior, and serves delicious drinks both indoors and outdoors. This store is worth a visit!

Baskets

Baskèts is the place to be if you are looking for trendy, unique sneakers. So ladies and gentleman, get prepared and go visit Baskèts for a perfect pair of shoe wear!!

ANNA & NINA

These two very talented girls started with one store in “De Pijp” which was a huge success that’s why they opened a second store. Both the store at Gerard Doustraat and Kloveniersburgwal have amazing interiors with a mix of fashion, shoes, books, jewelry and a selection brands for your interior. They just expanded their fashion corner and I am madly in love with their collection of Ganni, A La & Candels.

Centre Neuf

Centre Neuf is most definite one of my favourite shops. Not only because of its french name (J’adore Paris), but also because of their more than amazing interior. I have a weakness for everything resembling Paris as mentioned above and this store just has that certain Je ne sais quoi. You can find a variety of labels here such as: Kenzo, Ganni and Blck Dnm. You think that sounds like a party? Well I have a little surprise; the party doesn’t stop there! You can now also get your nails and eyebrows done in the city spa, which is located in Centre Neuf.

& Other Stories

This luxurious little sister of H&M finally opened her doors in Amsterdam last October and I couldn’t be more excited!! & Other Stories offers a wild range of affordable clothing, shoes, accessories and make up. & Other Stories is about creating a personal style. The philosophy of the label is that shoes, bags, jewellery, lingerie and beauty products are just as important as clothes and also requires personal styling. Go check it out on the Heiligeweg 26-28 and I know for sure you won’t leave the shop without buying at least something.

LoveStories Intimates

If you are looking for affordable and perfect lingerie, go here, it is a true love story! This Dutch brand has unique and individual pieces of lingerie that can be mixed and matched. All pieces have a perfect mix of different materials such as velvet, lace and exclusive silk what makes them playful and luxurious at the same time. The LoveStories boutique is situated in the heart of Amsterdam’s famous shopping district ‘The 9 streets’ and is the perfect hotspot to stop by when you’re in need for some lingerie.

Rika

Rika, located at the Oude Spiegelstraat 9, Amsterdam. Rika was founded on the strong personal taste of Ulrika Lundgren, the style fuses rock ‘n’ roll and a timeless feminine silhouette with a sprinkle of pared down, Scandinavian aesthetic. Above the boutique there is Maison Rika, a small 2 bedroom guesthouse decorated in style and ambiance in harmony with Ulrika’s Scandinavian sensitivity.

Acne

Acne’s stores are known as studios as they aim to recreate the atmosphere of a working creative space. Amsterdam’s first Acne Studio is part of the creative collective Acne (Ambition to Create Novel Expression) which was founded in Stockholm, Sweden. Clothes for both men and women, accessories and footwear. Acne Studios products can be seen as a mixture or bridge between ready-to-wear clothes (Prêt-à-Porter), youth culture and contemporary art.

Sky Fashion

Saved a little? Worked a little bit harder lately? Got a raise? Or do you just really want to spend some good money on really really pretty clothing? Don’t forget to stop by Sky fashion then. They got the most beautiful brands, including: Isabel Marant, Carven and APC. Close your mouth while window shopping.

Hope you all got inspired by my shopping guide! Let me know if I’m missing a store which you think should be in this list. For a chance to win your very own Cortina bike, take a look at their Facebook page for more info! Good luck!
