Oh man.. I’m putting this post up before Christmas because there is always a BIG question after opening up all the presents Christmas day & after the Christmas tree comes down, how do I decorate my house for winter?! Of course I will be showing you how I decorate at our house for winter here soon, but before this big question was asked by some at the end of this week I wanted to show you how easy it really can be to decorate for christmas & transition into winter decor. It’s really just a matter of subtracting a few things & a little rearranging to create some lovely winter tables. I rounded up a few of my favorite winter centerpieces that would be great for a dining room table, entryway tables, coffee tables, basically if you have a table these would work great for it.
To me, winter decor is simple, rustic, & apparently full of pinecones due to all the photos that I picked for my favorites. I love to keep some greenery, wreaths, & a few other items for Christmas around along with some candles & other cozy items. I like to take away items that say Merry Christmas, ornaments, & a majority of the red & green combination. Now, of course everyones style of decorating is different & this is just what I like, there are no exact rules to follow because if there were, wouldn’t life be so boring? I hope this posts gives you some winter decor ideas & that you enjoy some of my favorite winter table ideas & be sure to let me know what your favorite winter decorations are in the comments below.
