British Weight Lifting are searching for fit, powerful, and competitive female athletes. This is a golden opportunity to develop your potential and become part of Britain’s sporting elite to compete and medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. If you’re female aged under 26 and think you’ve got what it takes to succeed on the Olympic stage we want to meet you!

CrossFitters, athletes and gymnasts are some examples of people who have been discovered and had their potential unlocked through Olympic Weightlifting. Did you know Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2014 gold medallist Zoe Smith started out as a gymnast before beginning her record breaking weightlifting career? Britain’s strongest teenager Rebekah Tiler was first a track sprinter, now she’s an elite level weightlifter after just 3 years of hard training.

Sign up to have your strength and power tested by the BWL performance team at our testing day at Loughborough University on 24th and 25th January 2015.

If you’re the most powerful and strongest you could be selected to join an intensive 3 month intensive training programme with full access to BWL performance support including physiotherapy, nutrition, biomechanics and coaching.

Prizes will be awarded for the best performers!
