Austin Reptile Shows Reptile Adventure (Round Rock)- 10:30am. Get ready for creepy crawly fun! Tech Camp: Picture Collage and Graphic Design (Bee Cave) – 2 p.m., Children love playing with pictures and drawing and with the online tools provided in class, they will be able to take all of their pictures and turn them into colorful and unique collages. They also will learn how to add graphics and cool effects to their pictures with various free graphic editing tools. Kids will learn how to add text, special features, remove things, and then piece them all together which they can either print out or email to themselves after they are done. Baby Day at The Alamo Drafthouse-  Movies before 2 p.m. The lights are up a bit, the sound is down a bit so moms and dads can head to the movies without the babies even knowing that they were at the movies. Infants are welcome to these shows, and of course, are allowed in for free. Take some time for yourself, pack up the kids, and head out to the Alamo Drafthouse for some much needed entertainment! Movies in the Park: 180 Degrees South – 9:00 p.m., Movies in the Park is a series of free films brought to you by the Austin Parks Foundation, and presented by the #1 movie theater in America, the Alamo Drafthouse. Each year, APF and the Drafthouse bring you totally free movies right in downtown Austin. Residents and visitors bring their blanket or lawn chairs (and often a picnic dinner!) for a fun and relaxing evening under the beautiful Austin night sky.  Dogs, picnics, and lawn chairs are welcome. Tiny Tails Petting Zoo at Safari Champ (Round Rock) – 10:30 a.m., Austin’s Traveling Petting Zoo is coming to Safari Champ every 2nd Friday of every month. Create Your Own: Family Quilt - 11:00 a.m., Kids and families will make and take home their own artifacts in this art workshop. Each workshop features a short talk followed by hands-on art making. Sarah soon learns that all attention is not positive when stomping and roaring turns the heads of everyone she encounters. Ultimately, Sarah finds her voice and the adults in her world learn to think twice before speaking. Watching Sarah the Dinosaur is part of the July Austin Summer Fun Checklist, so by attending, you can earn your family’s way towards FREE prizes!
