Teddy Bear Clinic (Round Rock) – 10-11:30 a.m., The Round Rock Public Library welcomes children to help their stuffed animals get a check-up at a Teddy Bear Clinic featuring healthcare professionals from Baylor Scott and White. Kids, please bring a stuffed animal and be ready to help a doctor or nurse perform a well-check.  The Library will have extra stuffed animals available for children who do not bring a toy of their own. Dual Language Storytime – 10:15 a.m., Children of all ages are welcome. All ages storytime which uses both English and Spanish to present books, rhymes and songs. It differs from a traditional bilingual storytime in that some material is presented in English while other material is presented in Spanish, allowing for a natural transition between stories and activities and exposing children to both languages in an inviting environment. Storytime Art –Winter Weather  - 10:45 a.m., Storytime Art, or StArt! is a great opportunity for your young child to experience art! Storytimes are geared to the 3 – 5 year old preschooler, but some projects could easily translate into a Mommy and Me project for those a little younger. And, of course, anyone older is welcome, as well! Storytimes always include at least one book and a related art project, but often include surprises like songs, poems, and coloring pages. It’s Winter; the weather is getting colder.  We’ll make a craft and read stories about cold weather, ice and snow. Our painting project is a bowl, perfect for warm soup on a cold day! PBS Kids at Alamo Drafthouse: Nature Cat  – 10 a.m., The Alamo Drafthouse and our local PBS station are teaming up for a family screening of PBS KIDS’ latest show, along with themed activities and giveaways.  We will enjoy three episodes from the new show on the big screen (including a sneak peak at two brand new episodes).  This is an all-ages show with Baby Day rules – noisy young fans won’t be asked to leave the theater but we do ask that cellphones and other devices stay dark. Cost: $1-3 donation. Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline, 14028 N. US Hwy 183.

Zilker Botanical Garden Faerie Tea Party – 11 a.m.- 3 p.m., Come dressed in your faerie best for a tea party overlooking the garden. Practice faerie etiquette, stroll through the garden on a faerie scavenger hunt and plant enchanted faerie florae in a faerie ring. Kids will create a greeting card, bookmark, and landscape with pressed plants. All parties include fruit, miniature cakes, tea, and juice. Ages 3-11 years old. Register online by January 11th. Tufts University Wind Ensemble – Noon – 1 p.m., The Tufts University of Boston Wind Ensemble will perform with an “instrument petting zoo” following the performance.
