Opening Weekend of Three Little Pigs at ZACH Theatre- Friday, at 6:30 p.m. (Fry’s Fun Farm will be hosting a Petting Zoo and cookie reception at this show included with ticket!), Saturday, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Sunday, 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Take three little piglets, their devoted single-parent mom, and a misunderstood Big Bad Wolf, and you’ve got the perfect “Great Big Little Broadway Show” for audiences ages 3 and up. Pancho Rabbit and the Coyote- Saturday, 11 a.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m. Pancho Rabbit meets danger at every stage of his journey to find his missing Papá, but the greatest danger of all is his untrustworthy guide. Kids will be inspired and cautioned by this resonant and powerful story. Live music and imaginative scenes fill the Scottish Rite Theater stage. People’s Gallery Opening Reception – 6-9:00 p.m. Celebrate Austin’s creative talents in this exhibition featuring artworks by over 100 artists and special exhibits from United Way for Greater Austin, AISD Creative Learning Initiative students, and Art in Public Places. Interactive Storytelling Night (Round Rock) - 6:30 p.m. Children ages 3 and up are invited to bring 3-5 small, interesting objects: a figure of a character or animal, a finger puppet, toys, marbles, doll house items – any interesting trinkets will work. They will all be put in a basket and Ms. Andrea will help the kids create a fairy tale. It’s anyone’s guess as to where these stories will go. Wear your jammies and bring a pillow and blanket. Georgetown Airport Class Car and Vintage Plane Show (Georgetown) – 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. The event will have a unique blend of classic cars and vintage planes. Approximately 300 classic cars and several vintage planes will be there. The Devil Dog Squadron will be offering rides on the B-25 and helicopter rides will be available as well. Forty trophies will be presented to the Classic Car Exhibitors.
