Austin Opera Presents A Masked Ball with 3-D Projection – Monday, November 10 – Saturday, November 15 from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Austin Opera is debuting its 2014-15 season opening production A Masked Ball with a larger-than-life video art installation in the middle of The Long Center terrace for all of Austin to see. The installation uses the newest technology in 3-D projection mapping to create life-like art scenes wrapped around a two-story tall custom-welded steel mask sculpture positioned on the terrace. Baby Bloomers – Monday, November 10 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Little ones ages 0-3 and their families will have a Super time learning about the letter S. Veterans Day Parade – Tuesday, November 11 at 9:30 a.m. The 61st Annual Veterans Day Parade will begin at the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge at 9:30 a.m., after a flyover, and continue to the Capitol building. The Del Valle High School Band will perform at 10:30 a.m. and the Memorial Ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. on the south steps of the Capitol.
