Harvest the Fall Fun at Sweet Berry Farm – Monday, October 15, Tuesday, October 15, Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18 from 8:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m. Stuff your own scarecrow, take a hayride, have the kids find their way through the candy corn maze, ride a barrel train, pick your own flowers, eat homemade ice cream and visit with the goats, horses and chickens. Petting Zoo Playgroup (Pflugerville)- Monday, October 14 at 10 and 11am. Each session lasts for one hour and includes: and interactive storytime, 15-20 minutes of holding and petting the animals, craft or activity and possible balloons and bubbles. Cost: $10 per child. Shake, Rattle & Drum Roll: An Interactive Clinic for Special Needs Children (Round Rock)- Monday, October 14 from 5:45 to 7 p.m.  Drum coach Ed Francess provides interactive clinics to teach audience members about drumming. Shake, Rattle & Drum Roll is a clinic designed specifically for the special needs community. Mr. Ed has worked with many children with a variety of unique life conditions and he enjoys working with people who posses special needs. Music therapy can improve motor skills and coordination. The Boy Who Loved Monsters and the Girl Who Loved Peas- Wednesday, October 16 at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Evan, like many 7 year olds, does not like to clean his plate, especially when it is filled with peas. And to make matters worse, baby sister Sue loves them. When forced to remain at the table until his plate is clean, Evan makes a wish for a monster to come and eat his family. But watch out! Wishes can come true. Soon Evan and Sue find themselves trying to hide a six foot tall green monster named Pea from their parents. Among the laughs, Evan finds that although his parents discipline him, protecting those who he loves is his goal. Pea teaches Evan and the whole family many things including the importance of playing together, keeping imaginations alive, and that it is important to make room for surprises in every home. Music with Mar- Wednesday, October 16 from 9:15- 10:00 a.m. Music with Mar is a class where a caregiver and child (ages birth through preschool) participate together in musical activities.
