I recently had the pleasure of having some work done on our 65 Frolic at American Vintage Camper. These guys know what they are doing and are really a pleasure to do business with. They were not only knowledgable but also took the time to answer any questions I had and offered me suggestions as well. Another thing I appreciate about them is communication. They were really good at sending me updates on how the work was going on the trailer.

AVC did the following work on our Frolic;

*Replaced cross bracing on the lower front of the trailer and frame

*Resealed all the seams with new butyl tape

*Replaced the seals and repacked the bearings

*Checked the propane lines

*Secured a loose electrical outlet

They really went above and beyond because they noticed that when you rock the trailer the box was moving separately from the frame. This can prove to be dangerous when towing as the box of the trailer can actually separate from the frame and fly off. See their website post here about a unfortunate situation that happened to a 1961 Fan owner. She was lucky to be alive! I’m thankful that they caught this and fixed it. It’s now completely solid and I have every confidence now that I won’t have to worry about any loose connections between the trailer and frame.

Overall I’m very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone in the Midwest that needs restoration or general repairs done to their trailer. Below is a excerpt from their website on what kind of services they offer;
