Hello! I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's day! Last week on instagram, I participated in a "heart a day" photo challenge, and just thought I would share those here on my blog as well. I think it's the first photo challenge I have participated in and it was fun. The above heart was a little Valentine I made.

Just some "pretties" in my studio.

A little heart box I made with my Mom last year or the year before...they were little kits from Julie Collings.

A Valentine paper doll I made for a friend. As you know, on instagram the photos are all square, so I didn't get to show the whole doll.  So I'll share her with you here. :) I figured out a new way of doing the skirt, and I like it a little bit better than the snowflake paper dolls I did at Christmas.

This little sweetie is a treasure of mine. My daugher painted her for me when she was just 8 or 9. She even added glass glitter to the heart and the skirt. She has been one of my favorite things ever since.

Another heart shapded box I made last year. It's just a paper mache box covered in my favorite things, old lace and vintage millinery. I had wanted to make some of these for my shop this year, but didn't get to it.

And this was the last one for the challenge. I coudln't go out for Valentine's day due to recuperating from surgery STILL, so my husband made me a wonderful seafood dinner and then he actually crafted with me. ;) We made sharpie mugs for each other. It was actually fun, and he enjoyed it too. We decided we will make a new one every year from now on. I love that he's always game for anything, and I am a blessed girl that's for sure.

And just one more I didn't post on instagram.

I enjoyed participating, and seeing other people's lovely hearts, both handmade and not. If another comes my way, I'll happily participate again.

Did you make any Valentine's? Leave a link, I would love to see.

OH! I am in the planning stages for a new book kit and tutorial I will be working on just as soon as I can. I'm excited about it, and have been filling up my idea journal like crazy. I love it when I feel so creative!
