Today we share with you two beautiful Styled Shoots from the Top Vendor Wedding Awards: Spring and Vintage Farm with a French Flair Inspiration. These stunning shoots took place at the romantic wedding venue, Tramonto Venue, in the Garden Route!

Spring Time Styled Shoot

“It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.” - Rainer Maria Rilke

The smell of fresh flowers in the air, bird song and blossoms that signal the start of Spring – the start of a new beginning and fresh inspirations – these are the lovely things that inspired the beautiful Tramonto spring table. Tramonto embodies romance, elegance and beauty. The Venue is surrounded by the majestic Outeniqua Mountains, thus the perfect setting for the spring layout under one of the lush trees.

Tramonto used a gorgeous array of spring flowers such as wax Flowers, Lisianthus, Delphiniums, Pelicans and Pink surprises paired with vintage style watering cans, pots and cans to create this whimsical feeling of spring splendor! Origami flowers gently swaying in the wind together with old school cups and saucers created something interesting in every corner. Vintage frames and interesting spring patterns and bunting are also used to spice up the softness of the theme. Of course, the Wedding Cake was simple elegance created by Le Délice – the Venue’s cake studio – with a delicate Lisianthus in a cup as the proverbial Cherry on Top!

Vintage Farm Wedding with a French Flair

Still remember the smell of Granny’s kitchen table, freshly baked bread, apricot jam and cheese, fresh from the farm? Keeping this in mind, Tramonto wanted to return to their roots and to everything that is simple and true. As backdrop, they used granddad’s old farm gate, decorating it with old pans and glass bottles filled with Proteas. The table top is made from old, scuffle, wooden planks which are laid on the table. Freshly baked bread and homemade ginger snaps straight out of Tramonto’s kitchen was used to add to the décor and table layout. To soften the scuffle wooden planks and to create a romantic feel, Tramonto used a coffee-coloured net draped over the table. Old pots and milk jugs filled with loose arrangements of fynbos and proteas picked from surrounding farms, were placed on the table and to add to the farm feeling, a wired basket filled with fresh farm eggs was the perfect match to the farm gate back drop.

To add the French flair, French pattern placemats were printed on canvas and blocked. This is also used as gift favors. A vintage chandelier repeats the romantic, French ambiance. A variety of wooden and Perspex chairs create the feeling of being at home. Leaving the traditional fruit cake and icing sugar flowers in Granny’s kitchen, Tramonto decided on doing something out of the ordinary. They created a cheese cake, or rather a cake made out of cheese!! Camembert, Brie, Gouda and more interesting cheeses were used to make this unique cake. To finish it off, it was decorated with fresh strawberries, nuts, olives and figs; all being fresh from the farm. Wine corks also repeated the cork displayed on the table. Interesting, fun and quirky DIY cake toppers completed the cake. You can make your own cake toppers by using any kitchen utensils!
