MANHATTAN, KAN. – Manhattan Town Center is proudly providing a donation of Girl Scout Cookies to the soldiers of Fort Riley and is inviting the community to participate by purchasing boxes of cookies to be included in the delivery.

The Girl Scouts will be located in Center Court this Saturday, February 27 during mall hours (10am to 9pm).  Manhattan Town Center will distribute all cookie donations to Fort Riley soldiers deployed overseas, within the USO and the Warrior Transition Battalion.

“Whether it’s Operation Yellow Ribbon during the Christmas season, Operation Sweet Treat now or the ongoing discounts and promotions for military at the mall, we love to support our troops and their families,” said Jeff Sutton, Manhattan Town Center marketing manager.

In addition to the day-long Girl Scout cookie promotion at Center Court supporting the troops, Texas Roadhouse will give a presentation at 1 p.m. in the Food Court featuring foods inspired by the famous Girl Scout cookies. The restaurant will also be providing samples of its creations, including lemon cheesecake as well as a brownie mixed with caramel delight creation.
