It might be winter, but here in Perth we're currently enjoying warm days with plentiful sunshine, which also just happens to be the perfect excuse to escape my office each afternoon with bare legs and soak up some vitamin D, if not just for a moment. I went out for brunch at Gordon Street Garage on the weekend with a bunch of my favourite Perth bloggers, and we all agreed that this weather is the greatest excuse to wear skirts and shorts and dresses until it is actually just too damn cold (and by cold, I mean below 20C).
On a more personal note, I'm currently typing away on my Macbook at our dining table, surrounded by a bunch of amazing skincare products that I'm going to be trailing and using over the next month or so, as part of new beauty content here on Lion in the Wild. I hope you've all been enjoying the newly revamped category on the blog. I thoroughly enjoy playing with makeup and skincare and other beauty bits and bobs, so it has been so exciting for me to put such a big emphasis on beauty, along with my usual life and style articles. If there is anything you'd really like to see on Lion in the Wild beauty related, I'd love to know in the comments below!
Tomorrow morning I'm shooting another really exciting collaboration with the most fabulous threads, so tonight I'm going to be finalising the styled looks, painting my nails (finally!) and prepping our equipment. I cannot wait to show you what we've got planned, but you'll have to wait until early next week (not too long, I promise!).
