The upcoming long term support release of Ubuntu is almost here, Today, Ubuntu teams officially announced the Beta 1 freeze for Xubuntu, Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Studio and Ubuntu Gnome. Check beta 1 highlights and download links down below.
Beta 1 freeze means no more new features to be added in these releases, in the mean time these release will receive bug fixes for current packages only. Check feature freeze for further information.
