You guys! How did you do it?? How did you manage to outdo yourselves when we thought your art for the Tim Holtz CC3 Challenge o1 was un-outdo-able?? We’ve been talking amongst ourselves, and the consensus is, this is the best batch of challenge entries we’ve seen, pretty much anywhere, ever. We’re in awe!
We don’t even know how, but we’re going to select a Curiosity Crew’s Choice, and they’ll receive an INCREDIBLE Tim and Mario Prize Package! (If you follow me on Instagram, you got a peek!). The ingenious winner will be announced in a separate blog post this Tuesday, where we’ll also unveil the recipient of the $25 Funkie Junkie Boutique gift certificate…. so don’t forget to check back and see if you’re one of our winners. This week, we’re getting fancy with Tim’s beautiful Faux Tea Rose Technique, which you’ll find on page 65 of A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol. #3. Distressed flower lovers will go gaga over this one– the delicate, intricate design looks incredibly complicated, but thanks to Tim, it’s super easy!
Please note: This technique uses a specific die from Tim’s product collection, and all entries MUST use that die.
Before you link up your own amazing creation, please be sure to review the CC3C F.A.Q. for the rules of this challenge. There aren’t many, but the ones we do have are important! And, if you have questions that aren’t addressed, please leave a comment here and I’ll reply as soon as I’m able to.
This challenge is open to everyone, but you must work from your personal copy of A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol. 3. We will not be posting technique instructions on our blogs, and our participants must not, either. We require this out of respect and appreciation for all the work that Tim Holtz invested in creating this book. Regrettably, we’ve had to unlink some wonderful entries that did not adhere to this rule, and we really hate doing that! If you don’t have a copy, you can order one directly from Tim, who will autograph it for you!
