Come December 23rd, Movie lovers in Nigeria will be hosted to a mind-blowing epic movie/musical titled “Ayamma” by award winning film maker Emem Isong Misodi starring Nollywood thespians; Wale Ojo, Majid Michel, Adesua Etomi, Theresa Edem who play interestingly unusual roles acting alongside Ime Bishop Umoh, Moses Armstrong, Ekere Nkanga and other talented actors.



Wale Ojo plays the role of a noble crowned prince, Adesua Etomi plays the role of a charming orphaned village girl, Majid Michel plays the role of a prince as well and Theresa Edem plays the role of a ruthless princess. All together they pull performances certain to leave the audience awe.

‘Ayamma’ is a cultural renaissance of the rich African heritage mirrored in the rich culture of the Ibibio people. The movie which is a strong reminder of our history and culture was shot in the beautiful city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. It centres on the themes of love, hatred, betrayal, loss, hope and victory. Interspersed with music and dance, the epic drama is laced with humour as Ime Bishop Umoh plays a fascinating role as a village drunk

The movie, produced by Emem Isong Misodi is directed by ace director and content producer, Chris Eneaji who has successfully directed movies like Murder at prime Suites and Secret Room.

Emem Isong Misodi has constantly proved herself to be an icon to be reckoned with in the Nigerian movie industry. Following her success on movies like Apaye, Champagne, Knocking on Heaven's door, Lagos Cougars and Code of silence there is no doubt that Ayamma is a masterpiece that will thrill audiences in the most unexpected way.

The Private viewing of the movie is slated to hold on December 18th 2016 while the cinema premiere will take place on the 23rd of December 2016.
