Do hedgehogs give prickly hugs? It was something I pondered on while I colored these cuties from the new Happy Hugs set from Clearly Besotted. Aren’t they adorable! All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
I stamped the hedgies in Intense Black ink on white card and colored with Copics before trimming out and running a black brush tip marker around the edges to give a finished look. Then I whipped up a quick tag for them to sit on with lots of ink blending. I stamped the sun image on a Large Tag and masked the various areas to blend in Rosie Cheeks and Lavender in to the sky, Duckling and Sunshine to the sun and Green Apple and Green Leaf for the grass followed by some paint splatters.
The sentiment is stamped on a banner from the Tag Along Set and then the finished tag is foam mounted on a Fog card base accented with a Basic Banner of patterned paper and a few sequins to finish.
You can check out the Happy Hugs set later today when they go live at 10pm UK time, 5pm EST. The set is packed with cute critters and not only do they have the front view but also the back view so would make great spinner cards too.
