I used the Misti and the new Simon Says Stamp black pigment ink on Arches watercolor card to stamp a pattern from images in the Sketch Ranunculus set and have to say the ink pad is so juicy the images stamped like a dream! When the ink was fully dry (I dried it off with a heat tool to make sure) I then watercolored the panel before cutting it with a Stitched Rectangle and foam mounting it on a Desert Storm card base.
For the sentiment I cut the Painted Friend die from teal card and foam mounted it on a strip of Cream card overlaid with a little Silver vellum (so dreamy!). I also stamped one of the accompanying sentiments from the Sketch Ranunculus set with Clear Embossing Ink on Black card and white heat embossed before trimming out and adhering it to nestle above the friend die cut.
GIVEAWAY
The MISTI has changed stamping for me totally! I used to be cautious about stamping a sentiment on a colored panel in case I messed up, creating a patterned background was a daunting task and stamping on textured surfaces such as watercolor card was tricky to put it mildly. Since purchasing the MISTI I can stamp an image multiple times to get really good black outlines, even on textured surfaces and stamping a pattern is easy by keeping the stamp in place and simply moving the card stock around. Mis-stamped images and sentiments are a thing of the past! I only promote products I use and love and so I was delighted when Iliana asked if I would take part in MISTI May-nia.
