I designed a square motif which reminds me a dahlia flower. I think it may turn into some other flower if other colors will be used. This motif is very thick as it is made in overlay crochet technique but also due to many popcorn stitches. I would love to make a huge blanket of these squares if I ever had so much free time and not so many new ideas.
I love crochet. I really love to crochet very much. It brings me peace, it helps to harmonize my inner world. I enjoy looking at something beautiful growing in my hands. I like to make multiple color changes. I like volume and structure.
Though I have been crocheting for more than 20 years already I still learn new techniques and stitches. I started to use popcorn stitch not long ago. And I realized at once how many possibilities it may give.
