The new Subaru Impreza is available in the US.

The new Subaru Impreza model has been released in the US just in time for the holidays. The all-wheel drive economy car has been drastically improved over the previous model in almost all aspects, including performance, features, and design while maintaining the balance between price and customer satisfaction.

The prices for the new Subaru Impreza start at $18,395 for the Sedan variant while the five-door versions will cost upwards of $18, 895. Each model will come in multiple versions, with customers able to choose between four different trim levels: 2.0i, 2.0i Premium, 2.0i Limited, and 2.0i Sport.

Potential customers will be interested to know that all versions are built on the new Subaru Global Platform and are equipped with the Symmetrical All-Wheel drive as well as Subaru BOXER engine as standard. However, only the models equipped with the Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission are available in the US, with 5-speed manual transmission will arrive in early 2017.

The previously mentioned features together with the EyeSight Driver Assist technology represent the company core technologies and the foundation on which this new generation of Subaru Impreza is built upon. The redesign of the car allows for an enhanced stability, agility, as well as ride, conform while maintaining low levels of vibrations and noise.

The basic 2.0i version of the Subaru Impreza includes a wide range of standard features such as a 6.5-inch multimedia touchscreen, power windows with automatic functions on all side, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The car also comes with 60/40-split fold-down rear seats, multi-function display with information about fuel economy and more, a strong security system with engine immobilizer, tilt, and telescoping steering column, and many other features. Of course, Subaru offers a long list of optional features depending on your budget.

For example, the $21, 195 Premium version includes the Starlink Safety and Security features, the All-Weather Package consisting in heated front seats, windshield wiper and de-icer as well as heated exterior mirrors and automatic headlights. The Premium version also includes 16-inch allow wheels, standard roof rails, and driver assist systems.

The 2017 Subaru Impreza doesn’t bring many changes to its already reliable 2.0-liter engine. It has 152 horsepower and 148 foot-pounds of torque. Finally, fuel economy has also been improved to 28 miles per gallon in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
