Serie A side Inter Milan are ready to break the bank on £58.5m Arsenal and Chelsea target Marco Verratti.

The midfielder’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is now up in the air amid stories he has fallen out with new manager Unai Emery.

That has put number of Europe’s biggest sides on red alert, containing Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus.

But, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are ready to blow them out of the water by making a offer of £58.5m.

The Serie A giants were taken over by Chinese consortium Suning Holdings Group in the summer and have money to spend as a result.

The Italian midfielder is reportedly the man they have indicated to go huge for and an official offer is expected to be made in January.

Chelsea Trending Today: Fans reactions, Conte praises duo, Defender on radar

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has claimed it is too early to label Chelsea as Premier League title contenders after his club maintained their impressive form with a 2-0 triumph at Southampton.

The Blues have reeled off four consecutive league wins for the first time in 18 months and they sit just one point behind leaders Manchester City after their no-nonsense performance at St Mary’s on Sunday.

The Belgian attacker Eden Hazard opened the scoring with a great strike in the sixth minute and Diego Costa’s goal in the second half secured the points.

The West Londoners have double several points they had at the same time of a poor season last campaign and the positive nature of their display against in-form Southampton suggests Conte is starting to make his presence felt.

The Chelsea head coach wouldn’t be drawn into stating his side potential champions, though he did admit he is feeling more confident that his rebuilding job is taking form.

“If you ask me a prediction about the championship, it is very difficult. It is important to pass the first part of the season, then after Christmas you see if you can fight for the title,” the Italian said.

“If you ask me if I’m confident? Yes, because we are working a lot and I’m seeing a lot of positive things. In this moment it is not important to look at the table. We are in a good position but the most important thing is to work very hard.

“Sometimes you can win but you don’t see the right way, but now, game by game, I’m seeing a lot of positive things. I have confidence, but we can improve a lot.” – He Added.
