As part of this year’s 101 Days of Christmas series, I’m sharing a roundup each Sunday with more ideas from across the internet!

It’s been a few years since our family has done this advent activity. Basically, the idea is that you wrap up 25 books and unwrap one each day during advent to read as a family. This year, I’m hoping to restart the tradition, and I really wanted to add a few more picture books to our collection that focus on the “reason for the season”, and I was so excited to discover that Sally Lloyd-Jones (author of The Jesus Storybook Bible) has a Christmas book as well.

And I think my older girls will especially love the stories that tell the history of the candy cane, stockings and St. Nick.

With that said, here are 10 picture books I’m hoping to add to our collection this year:
