The following post is from Jo-Lynne of Musings of a Housewife:

The holidays are approaching, and you know what that means!

PARTY SEASON!!

Which, of course, always begs the question, what to wear??? If you have a classic LBD (Little Black Dress) in your closet, then you’re halfway there! All you need are fabulous shoes and accessories to complete your look.

With a little creativity, your  LBD could work for a variety of events.

Accessorizing a LBD for the holidays is super fun and easy. Choose a color palette and go from there.

1. Go for a classic look with metallic accents.

This look would be perfect for your child’s school performance or a holiday service at church.   Or you could wear this look to a Christmas party for work.

2. Make it fun with brights, like red or pink. Or, mix red and pink, if you dare!

Sometimes it’s fun to be a bold and add a splash of color.   I would wear this out on a date night night with my hubby or a girls get together to celebrate the season.  Be confident and let your sparkle show.

3. Or go for a dramatic, monochromatic look.

This ensemble is chic and dramatic and could be worn to almost any holiday events.   You could wear this to a band concert, and then head off to an office party all in the same night. (I just love the look of the textured tights. Don’t you?)

Your LBD dress can be a  fun and versatile piece for your holiday wardrobe.  Just add a little color or texture to create a new look!

How are you going to style your LBD this holiday season??
