For those of you who have been waiting in anticipation to find out if we are having a boy or girl, here is our big news!

To say I was surprised is an understatement! I thought for sure I was having another girl, especially since our 16 week ultrasound didn't show anything. Surprise, surprise! We definitely have a little boy on the way and we couldn't be more thrilled :) Now I just need all the boy mamas out there to give me your best tips!

How Far Along? Almost 21 weeks, so I'm a bit behind! It's just not as easy to get to my computer with a two year old running around!

Movement? I can tell this little guy is going to be keeping me up at night soon with his acrobatics. My hubby gets to feel him kicking almost every evening now which is fun! I like that he gets to start bonding with the baby that way too.

Morning Sickness: Still battling the nausea, but it wasn't terrible this week! My mornings and evenings are the worst for some reason but it's worth it for a healthy baby!

Weight Gain: I'm on a pretty steady gain of about a pound a week which is where my doctor wants me at now so we're right on track!

Clothes: I have one pair of non-maternity jeans that I can still button but otherwise I have mostly transitioned to maternity jeans and even some shirts for comfort sake! I'm hoping to find some shorts that fit me well for the hot days I know are just around the corner!

Best Moment of my week: Finding out that we are having a boy! I still can't fully wrap my mind around it!

Worst moment of my week: The ultrasound we had showed that there may be an issue with our son's kidneys functioning properly. It's a condition called Renal Hydronephrosis. Although it isn't a serious or life-threatening condition, it's still hard to hear. I will go to see a specialist next week to find out more details. Prayers for complete healing for him are appreciated!

Sleep: I am still sleeping pretty well at night but needing WAY more sleep than I remember needing with my first pregnancy. Why am I so tired?

Miss Anything: I am starting to miss being able to have full range of movement, like squatting down to play with my daughter or laying on the floor on my belly...it's the little things that you take for granted until you can't do them anymore!

Cravings: Cherries. I remember this happening to me with my daughter as well. When I see cherries first come out, they sound SO yummy, but they are SO expensive! I'm holding out for a few more weeks for them to be a normal cost and then I'm giving in!

Aversions: Eggs, and salsa. Eck

Mood: I have days with a lot of energy and then blah days where I'm just trying to make it through the day! That's the second trimester for ya!

Other Symptoms: I am so thankful to be feeling better in my lower back and sciatica nerve! Going to PT 2x a week has helped a ton and I am learning what I can and can't do to stay feeling well. I am also having some Braxton Hicks which is a little too early for my comfort. I am trying to take it easier so they lighten up!

What Big Sister Thinks: She is finally getting used to the idea that she is going to have a little brother. She loves to touch my belly and feel him kick her little hand. She also randomly stops playing to come give brother "kisses". She is going to be the best big sister!

Looking Forward: I am looking forward to deciding on a name! We have a few ideas but haven't decided on anything yet. We may wait until he is born to share the name publicly this time just in case we change our minds! I'm also looking forward to seeing this sweet little face again on the ultrasound. That's our boy!
