Fawad Khan is a Pakistani singer, model and an actor who has also gained popularity in bollywood. He rose to fame for playing the role of Hassan in 2010 serial Dastaan, which earned him Pakistan Media Award for Best Actor. Since then he has done several Pakistani serials which include Akbari Asghari, Kuch Pyar Ka Pagalpan, Humsafar, for which he won Lux Style Awards for Best Actor in 2013. He is well recognized for his singing talent. He was the lead singer of Pakistani rock band Entity Paradigm. He will be seen in upcoming bollywood movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Fawad Khan and Katrina Kaif being paired opposite each other for Karan Johar’s next production Raat Baaki. Debutant director Aditya Dhar who is a former assistant of Vishal Bharadwaj will helm the project. It is going to be a love story set in North India and will unfold against the back drop of a big fat Punjabi wedding.

Career
Fawad Khan’s initial modelling career project was a ramp walk for Muneeb Nawaz. He then appeared in advertisements like Olper’s, Pepsi and Mobilink. He began his singing career with Pakistani rock band Entity Paradigm as a lead singer. His songs “Shor Macha” and “Rahguzar” did well and was considered a critical and commercial success. In 2008, he wrote and sang the original soundtrack of his drama Satrangi. In 2012, he left the band Entity Paradigm, being more popular as an actor.
In 2000, he made his screen debut in the serial Jutt and Bond. Later Fawad has sang “Tum Kehti Ho” for his serial Zindagi Gulzar Hai, which became very famous among audience. He made his film debut as a lead in the film “Khuda Kay Liye”, which was the highest grossing Pakistani film of 2007. He made his bollywood debut with the film “Khoobsurat” opposite Sonam Kapoor.

Fawad Khan will be seen opposite Anushka Sharma in the upcoming movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The movie also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles. He will play the role of a DJ named as Ali. The film will release on October 28, 2016.
