Those seeking high-intensity workouts, pulse-pounding rhythms and streamlined personal performance tracking from the pros need look no further than Scottsdale’s McCormick Ranch, the newest and first Arizona site of CycleBar Premium Indoor Cycling.

A new luxury boutique fitness franchise offering a high-energy workout in a lively, concert-like atmosphere, CycleBar is set to open in early May at 7001 N Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale. One of 100 other CycleBar locations opening this year from coast to coast, Scottsdale’s studio will be led by Jon Krumdieck, who hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, where CycleBar first launched. Scottsdale’s studio will join four others already in operation in Cincinnati, Ohio, Detroit, Michigan, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Boston, Massachusetts.

“CycleBar differs considerably from big-box gyms, and one of the ways it does so is by offering a pay-per-class model,” said Krumdieck, of the franchise’s unique business model. “So, there’s no need for monthly or annual membership contracts.”

Instead, CycleBar guests are privy to concierge service and an array of amenities including complimentary towels, showers, lockers and shoes to utilize during their workouts in CycleBar’s expansive, 3154-square-foot space. All CycleBar classes are conducted in the studio’s state-of-the-art CycleTheatre and are led by certified CycleStar instructors who take participants on a 50-minute high-energy ride. The CycleTheatre boasts riser-style tiers for 50 bikes as well as LED lighting, eye-catching wide-screen graphics and a DJ booth. Riders can also track their performance data via CycleStats, and they can also download music heard during class. After the high-intensity workout, riders can cool down with fresh fruit and infused water while benefitting from aromatherapy used throughout the facility. Additionally, CycleBar studios include state-of-the-art AV and HVAC systems, which pump fresh air into the studios at regular 10-minute intervals.

In addition to helping riders stay in shape, CycleBar franchises regularly give back the communities that welcome them by organizing CycleGiving events in its studios. In 2015, CycleBar helped raise funds for Susan G. Komen, the American Heart Association and The Movember Foundation.

In honor of its grand opening in Arizona, CycleBar will hold a 10-day CycleBlast celebration, where guests can try out one of 50 heart-pounding CycleBar workouts completely free. Registration is required and can be done at McCormickRanch.CycleBar.com. Corporate groups, community organizations and charities can reserve complimentary private group rides before the grand opening by emailing cyclebar@awecollective.com.
