Rape is not something anyone should joke about. Neither should anyone who disagrees with someone politically compare it with being raped.

Judd Apatow is a comedian and the producer of such films as Anchorman and Bridesmaids, neither of which I’m seen. Because he’s a liberal comedian, he can say the most egregious things and never get called out for them. If you’re a liberal comedian or a liberal artist, all criticism is negated if the target is conservatives.

During a comedy routine laced with expletives and sexually provocative one-liners aimed at Donald Trump, Melania Trump, and Barron Trump, Apatow said that when Trump was elected, “he felt like ‘a person about to get raped, but I didn’t know how bad it would be.’ Now that Trump is president, he added, ‘I feel like I’ve just been raped and I just don’t know if I’m going to get murdered.’” (The Daily Beast)

I don’t have to tell you this, but I’m going to anyway, if a conservative comedian of any type had said this about the Obamas, they would have been tarred and feathered and driven out of town on a rail. Their careers would be over.

I’m waiting to see if anyone from the Women’s March will denounce Apatow over his rape comments. I haven’t seen anything yet. It seems that liberals can use such comparisons as long as the attack is directed at a conservative or Republican (they aren’t necessarily the same). The most evident example is Bill Clinton who had been accused of rape by at least three women. Near silence from Leftists and Democrats.
