(As if you needed that many…) The International Students For Liberty Conference, or ISFLC as all the cool kids call it, is the premiere event of the year for students dedicated to liberty and advancing freedom in the world. The world’s largest crowd of pro-liberty students will gather for a weekend of learning about liberty from contemporary leaders in liberty, discussing best practices for promoting liberty on campus, getting more involved in the larger movement for liberty, and enjoying a massive celebration of freedom! Register here! Below are 20 reasons why you need to be there.

1. Ron Paul and Judge Napolitano will be speaking!

Yup, that’s right! It’s happening and you can be apart of it too.

2. The Conference is from February 13-15…you know what that means:

You’ll be surrounded by thousands of like-minded individuals on Valentine’s Day. Try some of these: “Wanna Lysander Spoon?” or “I’m not Keynesing you. I really want to liberate your Hayek and Rothbard your Mises!”

3. Do you have an inclination to be TV famous?

Every year, John Stossel films an episode live during the conference. He allows plenty of time for attendees to ask questions at the end and the episode will be aired on TV! Check out a past recording here.

4. Congressman Justin Amash will be speaking!

5. Yeon-mi Park, a North Korean defector, will be speaking!

Yeon-mi Park is a North Korean defector and human rights activist who escaped North Korea in 2007 and currently lives in South Korea. Check out her Facebook page here.

6. Vera Kichanova will be speaking!

Back in 2013, the Washington Post deemed Vera as “the new face of Russia’s opposition!” Check out an interview with Vera here, and read more about this brave woman here.

7. We get to stay at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park for a discounted price!

Thousands of libertarians all crashing in the same hotel? Sounds too good to be true – but it’s true! Check out more information about the hotel and how to register here. You can also find roommates by joining this Facebook group!

8. I bet you’ll learn more in this weekend with our 70+ breakout sessions than you would sitting in class staring out the window!
