Can you believe it? Black Friday is just around the corner. Can’t miss it with all those Black Friday ads – they’re everywhere! On TV, in the malls, filling up our emails and mailboxes. Yikes! How can you keep on top of all those deals? How do you know who has the best offers, the ones worthy of your hard earned cash?

Well, you can clip ads from newspapers, check your mail for the latest store flyers, or watch your email for your favorite stores’ announcements. Then as soon as Thanksgiving dinner is over, compile all that information to find the best deals. Sounds like a lot of work. It’s enough to cause a shopper like me to break out in a cold sweat!

So what’s a Black Friday shopper to do? Get Black Friday shopping apps! They’ll help you take control of finding the best Black Friday deals for the items on your shopping list.

Let’s get started, shall we? Here’s my favorite Black Friday apps for 2013. These are the apps that I use to plan my own Black Friday purchases.

My Go-To Black Friday Shopping Apps for 2013

I used to be quite “Back Friday – aphobic.” Just the words were enough to send a ripple of shopping anxiety through me. Then I discovered Black Friday shopping apps, and I haven’t looked back. No more clipping newspaper ads or searching through twenty different retailer’s emails to find the best deals. All this, and more, can be accomplished with Black Friday shopping apps.

I have two tried and true favorites - TGI Black Friday and Black Friday by Fat Wallet. Both offer powerful websites for easy searches at home, and equally powerful apps for on-the-go Black Friday shopping.

TGI Black Friday

Why TGI Black Friday? Because it’s jam packed with features I want in a Black Friday shopping website and app. Just look at all the shopping tools in this one powerful site:

Find Black Friday ads for most major retailer as soon as they are released or leaked.

Download PDF Black Friday ad scans.

Search Black Friday deals across different retailers and product categories.

Compare and review competitor prices to find the best deals.

Shop online for items that might be available before the in-store Black Friday sale.

Create shopping lists to keep favorite deals close at hand.

Receive push notifications when the latest ads are posted.

TGI Black Friday posts retailers’ Black Friday deals as early as three weeks before Thanksgiving Day. For a planner like me, that’s music to my ears! I can prepare my Black Friday shopping strategy and cash in on the best possible deals.

Whether perusing deals before bedtime or on your lunch hour, the TGI Black Friday website and Apps keeps those Black Friday deals at your finger tips. That’s my kind of Black Friday deal finder! And that’s why TGI Black Friday remains one of my favorite Black Friday shopping apps.

Black Friday By Fat Wallet

Black Friday by Fat Wallet is my other go-to Black Friday deal finder. Fat Wallet organizes Black Friday information into two easy-to-use categories, Black Friday Ads and Black Friday Deals. Pick how you want to search, and Black Friday finds the deals. They search all those ads so you don’t have to, saving you precious shopping time.

Much like TGI Black Friday, Black Friday by Fat Wallet is chock full of handy Black Friday shoppers’ tools, including shopper’s lists, Black Friday Deal Alerts, and what’s trending on Black Friday Deals. The Black Friday App even lets you cash in on the deal directly from the app via FatWallet Checkout.

Black Friday by Fat Wallet apps are available for iPhone/iPad and Android devices. It’s just that easy to maximize your Black Friday savings with Black Friday by Fat Wallet.

Other Notable Black Friday Shopping Apps

My go-to apps are TGI Black Friday and Black Friday by Fat Wallet. That doesn’t mean there aren’t other Black Friday shopping apps worthy of your smart phone. These four apps are also chock full of many of the same features as my two favorites, and are worthy of a walk-through. Hey, we all have a different opinion of what’s our favorite app, right?
