Finally! The day has come. Social Welfare Departments of AP invited candidates to renew their ePass Application forms for the academic year 2014 – 15. After the state bifurcation there arises many issues with ePass Scholarships. There was a proposal from Telangana State about the name change of ePass to FAST but few sources said it was not yet finalised by the Supreme court. However, for now Andhra Pradesh Government came forward with the notification of inviting students to apply for AP ePass Renewal 2014 – 2015. There are some norms that one must follow before moving forward with AP ePass Renewal submission at apepass.cgg.gov.in. Check them once at a glance which is recommended of course.
Apply for AP ePass Renewal Application
Don’t rush to fill up the renewal scholarship application of ePass. First understand the procedure and gather all the required documents then move slowly within the speculated time mentioned.
In most of the cases (in my experience) candidates will make mistakes while entering the Aadhaar Card number (sometimes they may skip), Bank Account number, Annual Income, Distance etc assuming there would be editing option for ePass Scholarship Application. But, enabling ePass Application editing facility is a rare thing and if it comes by change, officials only enables few options to edit not all. So be careful before hitting the submit button.
Let me explain few common things here. Candidates who are pursuing other than first year can apply for AP ePass Renewal Application for the current academic year. If one failed to apply in previous year, then kindly consult the academic office to get more details regarding. To get your ePass Application form approved, BC/OBC candidate should have the parental income below 1 lakh and for SC/ST it can be below 2 lakh.
All the renewal candidates should login with their application number followed by few mandatory details to submit the AP ePass Renewal Application Online. Here are the documents that should be attached while submitting the scholarship via apepass.cgg.gov.in.
Passed examination marks memo should be uploaded.
Income affidavit on non judicial stamp paper in Rs. 10 (should be signed by student & parent).
Confirm the account number of the students shown.
Valid and working mobile number.
Aadhaar card of the student.
Ration Card number.
Last date of AP ePass Renewal Application 2014 – 15 is November 10, 2014. There would be no provision of extending the date. So be quick in applying for AP ePass Renewal Scholarship online at apepass.cgg.gov.in.
What about Telangana ePass?
We are expecting Telangana government will release a prompt bulletin about the same very soon. They might offer candidates to renewal Telangana ePass Application for the present running schedule. After few days they might invite students to apply for Telangana ePass Fresh Scholarship at telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in which is the web portal to receive data from eligible students.
