Continuing with catching up …. July was a big month! Photo shoot with Kam, traveled to Colorado AND first full month as self-employed!
Biggest thing to notice about these weeks is I have given up trying to keep track of what I’m watching and reading in any given week. Since I put these spreads together so long after the actual weeks I couldn’t remember to save my life. I could have guessed, and maybe used GoodReads to figure out part of it. But I decided I don’t care enough to spend the time and can use that pocket for another photo, more journaling or even (gasp!) a “filler” card.
Random trivia: 2nd week of July marks the first time I have ever used a “filler” Project Life card as that. Just for decoration. What is this world coming to??
These are my Project Life spreads from the four weeks in July …. My weeks run Monday to Sunday – which I love, because they keep the weekends together in a chunk. So the images are *roughly* arranged from Monday on the left to Sunday on the right.
(if you’d like to see the images larger, you should be able to click through to view them on Flickr)
These are JUST the full 2-page spreads. You can click through to the full gallery to see each page individually as well.
Week 27 : July 1 – 7:
Andrew was off work for the 4th of July, but had to back on the 5th (for his birthday). BUT we had all day Saturday together, including meeting Kam and her boyfriend in Pasadena for a 30Lists photo shoot (to go with our new site design!)
Other news this week? Finishing up BUILD, Maggie taught a workshop and the cats got a new box.
Week 28: July 8 – 14
Busy busy – assisting Maggie on a couple shoots and running errands to Lowe’s for her. My friend Kari came over and saw our house for the first time! Getting ready to leave for our trip the following week.
BUILD launched officially in the middle of this week!
AND Andrew had a recording session in our house. You’ll notice there is a blank journaling card – Andrew has promised to write a little bit about that recording session, but he hasn’t been home and awake more than a couple hours a day for the last several weeks.
Week 29: July 15 – 21
IN COLORADO!!
Tuesday morning we left the house at 5a or so, and the rest of the week was in Colorado!
Obviously, I can’t put the whole week in 1 Project Life spread. I have plans to make a Blurb book (like my Alaska and Scotland books), and just wanted to keep my weeks in the Project Life album standard.
I love using this 12×12 photo as a statement piece – basically saying this was a big week.
Week 30: July 22 – 28
A couple days in Colorado, the rest of the week at home and catching up on everything. We left CO to come home on Tuesday morning, but I’ve included quite a bit of our Monday in CO in the Project Life spread.
The rest of the week – we brought home a drum kit and Colorado beers to share with friends. Andrew visited his friend Amber – and got to see her office that she basically shares with James Cameron. No big deal.
And Andrew got the records for the next Ghostbot Records release!
It was a VERY full July! And I love how my Project Life pages reflect that!
