Partnership will provide members with highly effective customized topical pain management therapy
The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA), the only national association comprised of NBA, ABA, Harlem Globetrotters and WNBA alumni, announced today plans to partner with HALDEY Pharmaceutical Compounding to help retired players have a healthier, happier, and more productive life after retirement from professional play.
HALDEY Pharmaceutical Compounding is among the nation’s leaders in the formulation of individualized custom-blended medications.
Through the partnership, HALDEY will be providing the players, and their families, with individually customized topical pain management therapy that may help reduce or eliminate the need for narcotic and non-narcotic oral medications. Most importantly, the parties will collaborate on a nationwide campaign to decrease the use of narcotic analgesics and fight drug abuse.
“We are proud to be partnering with a great organization such as HALDEY Pharmaceutical Compounding,” said NBRPA President & CEO Arnie D. Fielkow. “We strive to offer our members great value within our organization and we believe this will be a great benefit to them.”
“My talented staff and I are looking forward to helping athletes, trainers and doctors and providing them with the essential tools needed to incorporate the benefits of pharmaceutical compounding into their treatment options,” said Dr. Emil Haldey, President of HALDEY Pharmaceutical Compounding.
