The 6th annual Great Wine Festival is coming to Orange County on May 21st
IRVINE, CA (May 2, 2016) – The Legal Aid Society of Orange County is hosting its annual Great Wine Festival at the OC Great Park in Irvine on May 21, 2016. “We are excited to once again bring together more than 30+ exceptional wineries, breweries, spirits, and restaurants for an afternoon of relaxation, superb tastings, live music, and fun,” says Iris Ma, Legal Aid’s Director of Fund Development.
Now in its 6th year, the Great Wine Festival blends the OC lifestyle with the wine country experience. Citrus plantings, native shade trees, and the iconic Great Park Balloon serve as the festival backdrop. A handful of the festival’s exhibitors include Brio Tuscan Grille, California Fruit Wine Company, Cholame Vineyard, Gagnon Cellars, H & H Wine Company, James Republic, Justin Vineyards & Winery, Lucky Dogg Winery, Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyards, Quigley Fine Wines, Anheuser-Busch, and Shuck Oyster Bar.
The Great Wine Festival is made possible with the support of sponsors, community partners, vendors, donors, and volunteers. Some of Legal Aid’s sponsors this year include Yelp, Minyard Morris, Hueston Hennigan, IDG Advertising, Knobbe Martens, Tustin Cadillac, Rutan & Tucker LLP, Steven R. “This annual event benefits the Legal Aid Society of Orange County to support its mission to provide free civil legal assistance to those that would otherwise not be able to afford an attorney,” says Robert J. Cohen, Legal Aid’s Executive Director. “Our organization provides free civil legal assistance to society’s most vulnerable populations such as veterans, the elderly, families, and low-income individuals.” The 501(c)(3) non-profit serves all of Orange County and southeast Los Angeles, where over 730,000 client-eligible people reside. With offices in Santa Ana, Anaheim, Compton, and Norwalk, the Legal Aid Society of Orange County assisted over 114,000 last year alone.
