I want to install a backup camera on my 2013. I am looking at getting these items, but I have a lot of questions.

I’m not sure how the camera connects to the license plate light for power. Is it necessary to connect the camera to the tail light wire and do you need to splice into it? Which wire is the right one? If you don’t connect it, will the camera always be on? How do I power the wireless receiver with the camera? At the other end with the display, how do I power the receiver and the display? I also assume that I would need to feed the wires through the conduit into the trunk, which doesn’t look like it should be too hard to do since I found out how to remove the clips on the trunk inside lid covering, they are type B (http://www.m-sedan.com/removing_and_...lips-6899.html). The replies may help other people wanting to do the same thing, but don't know how.
There is also the Garmin Nuvi 2798 with a backup camera, but you need to drill into the car according the manual because even if I go through license plate light, the wires would be exposed and there would be an opening. I would also need to splice into the tail light wires for power, so that is a no go. Also this would lock me into using the 2798. I am waiting for the new 2789 to come out in April.
