Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros will return with their new album, PersonA, on April 15th. The album marks the first time all ten band members wrote songs together. Our first preview came in the form of “Hot Coals”, which is followed up today with “No Love Like Yours”.
The track, a typically exalting song of love and salvation, is accompanied with a music video directed by actress Olivia Wilde. Shot in New Orleans, the same city where PersonA was recorded, the clip was captured entirely using iPhones. (Takes those “Shot on iPhone 6” ads to a whole new level.) The story finds frontman Alex Ebert in a desolate state until he comes across a second line parade that seems to bring him joy. That is, until he discovers what’s in the casket the revelers are carrying.

Edward Sharpe and his Zeros have also announced a new string of tour dates. Following a run of intimate shows dubbed the “PersonA Preview Tour”, the band will strike out on a full North American trek that includes a return trip to Newport Folk Festival. Find their full itinerary below.
