Earlier this week, Kanye West appeared on Later… with Jools Holland, where he performed a gripping live rendition of “Bound 2″. An extended version of the program aired Friday night, featuring two additional performances by Kanye: “New Slaves” and “Blood on the Leaves”, both of which appear on his latest opus, Yeezus. Both performances differed drastically from the original album versions, with “New Slaves” reworked to incorporate piano and vocals from Charlie Wilson, and “Blood on the Leaves” featuring lengthy Auto-Tune-enhanced singing and screams akin to Kanye’s past performances of “Runaway”.
