(Source: CBC) Opposition Leader Patrick Brown is seeking the prime minister’s help in opposing the cap-and-trade program being brought in by the provincial Liberal government. In an open letter to Justin Trudeau, the PC leader says he has concerns that the cap-and-trade plan endorsed by Premier Kathleen Wynne’s government “does not have Ontario’s best interests at heart.” Brown says his party supports putting a revenue-neutral price on carbon to protect the environment without harming the economy, and notes Trudeau recently announced a similar policy.
