Jonathon Vipond is running a guitar masterclass at the PMT on Kirkstall Road this evening (Monday 15th) 7.30-10.30pm. There are apparently some places left for this event which features John Wheatcroft (toured the world with both Carl Palmer (ELP) and John Jorgenson (Elton John/Hellecasters) and performed alongside artists as diverse as Mike Stern (Miles Davis), Frank Gambale (Chic Corea) and Glen Hughes (Deep Purple), Tom Quayle (Tom is fast become a major force in the jazz fusion world. Having built his reputation as a formidable player as a finalist in Guitar Idol 2008) and Jim Clark (amongst many other things he has worked with David Arnold, Grammy Award Winning composer (James Bond, Independence Day) and David McAlmont among others)
It's £15.00 on the door and any profits made on the night are being donated to Cloth Cat so many thanks to Jonathon for this and I'm sure it will be a great evening.
