Hello jenetianelson1965 , Sorry to hear you are having trouble.  I see you are using a Windows computer, but Firefox as your browser.  Please make sure you are only using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome but not Firefox as that browser will cause errors and is not compatible at all with our courses. Are you using a wireless connection by chance?  Usually when the course loads some times and not others that is related to the internet connection being used, and wireless connections can make loading times longer.  If you are able to use a wired connection that would probably speed things up considerably. There was also a new Java update that occurred mid to late last week.  While Java will sometimes prompt you to update right there in your browser, Windows computers require a manual uninstall/re-install of Java.  In our Java Windows instructions we provide a link to Java's website that shows you how to manually uninstall older versions of Java based on the version of Windows you are running.  Only then can you download the newest version.   Those would be my suggestions:   Try another fresh install of Java to make sure you have the most recent version Once that's done use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome as your browsers (not Firefox) Use a wired connection if at all possible If you continue having trouble, please contact us at elearning@ncsbn.org.   Best, Melinda, NCSBN
