Sorry... I had to! Happy Friday and a happy start to May! I am excited for the month ahead with a whole lot of fun events happening- start of summer break (less then a week left!), my first half marathon, Memorial Day weekend, and more. I am excited to finish up with this semester next week and enjoy the summer months. Although I will be working full time, it will be nice to come home at the end of the day and not have to stress about getting school work done.

This weekend I'll be getting a whole lot of studying done for finals, but hopefully enjoying the sunshine too. I have an 11 miler on the schedule tomorrow and I think I might be able to wear shorts on it! I am really looking forward to next Thursday afternoon when I am completely done with the semester, so if I can really focus over this weekend and next week, I will be happy when it is all done and behind me!

Now, before I head off to my last class of my junior year of college (wait, what?!), I am sharing my favorites from the week and linking up with Heather, Jill, and Clare on their blogs as well.

As always, share your favorites from the week in the comments below!

Exam Goodies

My mom had some stuff to send along to me and, of course being the best mom, sent along a few goodies to get me through finals week. I love it! Some Justin's vanilla almond butter, Trader Joe's dark chocolate, and pasta chips. I am excited to try out the pasta chips while studying- they sound delicious! I think with the combination of dark chocolate and almond butter I will survive through finals week :).

Tone It Up Water Bottle
So Tone It Up really knows the way into my wallet. I swear, I just want to buy their entire store. They came out with this waterbottle last fall and I am surprised I held off on buying it for so long. When I bought their new Beach Babe DVD I decided to finally buy it since it was on sale and all, and I love it way more than I thought I would. There is a shaker attached to straw at the bottom so I can throw in a protein shake or smoothie and just shake to avoid clumps and I love that the shaker does not move. I have a few other blender bottles that have the shaker balls and they annoy me since you hear the ball moving around when you drink from it. Plus, this bottle comes in my favorite color, seriously come into my apartment and EVERYTHING I own is tiffany blue. And I love repping the TIU logo all day every day. TIU <3

Canon Rebel T5
I am sure if you read Wednesday's post you would have guessed my new DSLR camera would make its way into my favorites for the week. It has definitely been the highlight of my week! I bought my very first DSLR camera and am already 100% happy with my purchase. I love being able to take higher quality pictures already and although there is still a ton to learn, I am having fun experimenting so far. My brother bought a DSLR a few years ago and every time I knew he was going to be home the same time I would be home I would make a list of everything I wanted to photograph for the blog so I could have some higher quality photos. Posts like this one and this one I did when I had access to his camera. I finally decided it would be worth it for me to make the investment so I can always take pictures on a DSLR instead of having to wait until I knew I could borrow my brothers. If you are on the fence about buying one, I would definitely recommend it. Mine is just an entry level DSLR, but it can do so much that I am really happy so far with my purchase!

Unreal Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

The Easter Bunny passed these along a few weeks ago and I just now got to trying them out last weekend. Oh my, they are so delicious! I looooove peanut butter cups, but use dark chocolate for the cups and it takes it to a whole new level. I was checking out their site and they have dark chocolate almond butter cups that I have officially decided will be in my hands the next time I find them!!

Tone It Up Total Body Mermaid

I have completed this Bikini Series workout twice now and I absolutely love it. A full body workout in under 20 minutes and I can feel it all day long! The girls start the routine off with kettlebell moves which are my favorite and work the whole body from there. If you want a weekend quickie or an add-on to your workout this weekend, this is it! Let me know if you do the "mermaid" move- it's a burner on your abs!

Have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy the sunshine!

What are you looking forward to this month?
